I loved this place but after going by on Friday night to grab my weekly wings, I saw that their sign was taken down. So I guess this location is closed... I won't be travelling to Coconut Point or North Fort Myers to get Hurricane. You definitely shouldn't have closed this location. My family and I came every week.

Have eaten here on many occasions and never really had any real issues. Food is decent for a wing place and the service is acceptably average. We got an order of their hottest wings once and could not even get through the 5 wing flats, they were so hot (in both a good and bad way). After sweating profusely for about 15 minutes after eating just two of them, the lesson was learned. :-P

There's some prices are kinda pricey due to small food and I ordered a hurricane bucket and I was shocked to charged me $15.99 and there no taste of 5 different rums in it. One waitress was being a silly and had a bad fall with one cup broken and got a wet sparkled from the drink on my pant. Some are too wild waitresses and I waited for 20 min to order the food even it wasn't that busy and had a PLENTLY of time to take my order after we seated. So she said will take it off $15.99 and gave me another drink and it's still the same taste no taste of 5 rums in it - we decided to leave as well never will come back.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I went there on a Wednesday night at 5:30 and it was not busy at all. By 6:10 we still hadn't received our food and the staff never communicated with us why things were taking so long. We asked a waitress (very kindly) where our food was - she rolled her eyes and said she'd check. Well, five minutes later she walked by, made eye contact with me and then looked the other way. Therefore, we nicely told our waitress we were sorry, but we didn't have any longer to wait - we had somewhere we had to be soon. The only redeeming quality was that our waitress didn't make us pay for our soda's that we ordered. We will never be going there again.

Best wings in town!! I actually crave the food from this place on a regular basis. They have dozens of sauces and even allow you to mix flavors if you'd like. The cheese-parm fries are phenomenal and the fried pickles are a heart attack worth having. Dave, the manager, is kind and accommodating. He says hello and catches up every time we enter the building. Truly one of my favorite places in town.

This place up to the challenge of hot wings. I tried the new lime cilantro and split with extra hot buffalo. Wings were okay, spice was hot, many places rarely have hot any more. We asked if chicken boneless was fresh and not frozen, server said yes but no is answer. Service was just mediocre. Plenty of TV'S for Rays watching. Fries fine, nothing special, overall just maintenance meal, nothing special. The manager was very present, probably only one interested in service quality, our server was glib.

Tourists just looking for a bite to eat on the way to mini golf and came across Hurricanes. The deck was packed which we took as a good sign. Turns out there was 2 games of Texas hold'em underway. We decided to sit outside where all the action was. 3 of the 4 on our party got hot wings. I got the shrimp and Mahi Mahi over rice and beans and thought it was very good and just the right portion. Hot wings were also a hit although my son did regret ordering the extra hot. He literally had tears running down his cheeks. The waitress would benefit from a little more training , but that's not something restaurants seem to spend any effort on.

Juicy chicken wings!! Get the garlic cheese and the medium sauce wings! While most places seem to have their chickens getting skinnier each visit, this place has them full of meat. Service was good. Weird that there were only female employees.

Good food but got cheated. Paid $22 for the $20 Jumbo Wing combo. Got 17 tiny tiny ones. 1/3 of them were half wings, broken pieces. Made a mistake once - never again will I recommend anyone to this place.

Maybe we just hit them on the night of a perfect storm, but nothing was acceptable about this restaurant. The server was mostly nonexistent and rude when she was present. Of the five of us, three didn't get what they ordered (and tasted bland at best), three had one or more wings that were still raw inside (YUCK!), and because our server wouldn't come back we never did get the situation resolved. It took us over an hour to get our food and we never did get refills on our drinks. When we finally got our server to come back (by begging another server to find her), we expressed our discontent politely. She left to get the manager, who was too busy to bother, but came back and threw the ticket at us (yes, I do mean THREW), snarky attitude about having taken 50% off, and never came back so we could pay it. We had to scrounge cash among us or we'd probably still be there. On top of that, the ticket was completely wrong, so I recalculated it on the back and left the corrected amount (in their favor). Three of us left, but one went was upset enough to go find the manager - he was cooking in the kitchen and was adamant about coming back so he could fix things. Sorry, dude, but that isn't going to happen. If you can't manage the kitchen while you are even in there the entire time well enough to get wings done in less than an hour and be cooked properly, or hire staff that doesn't throw things at you and ignore you, then I have no faith in your ability to run the establishment on any other day either. First and last time. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

I keep trying to give this place a chance I have ate here 4x easily. I love chicken wings but when I ask for extra extra crispy wings why would I have to return them because they are pink inside? I have eatin wings across this country but every time I eat here the legs are always broken when you eat one of the flats. Tonight too. Nice wing sauce but if the wings are not like you like them, then who cares. We also got a Chicken ceasar salad. A 12 year old could have done better. Wet lettuce with 5 slices of chicken and grated parm cheese like the kind you put on pizza. Really? 9 bucks for that? Service was slow.....took an hour and 15 minutes for wings and a salad. Not sure I can keep going there. Bartenders don't talk to you....food is bad....and they were complaining in front of customers about tips. Duh.... Another wing place opened up next door to them on 41...I wonder why? They must not be too worried.

First visit last night, very crowded probably due to it being Dec. 23. Realized a few minutes in that Mondays are "kids eat free all day." There were several tables with several kids and I give all those kids credit for not melting down, because everything took a very long time to happen. Service was extremely slow, but the waitstaff were all moving fast. We were not greeted upon arrival so after standing awkwardly inside the door for a minute took it upon ourselves to take the one empty hightop table behind the bar. It was messy so we wiped it and the chairs with napkins. Our waitress arrived quickly for drink orders and brought our first round within 5 minutes. After that a soda refill was pretty quick but I watched my 2nd cocktail sit on the bar awaiting delivery for at least 7 minutes, and it was at least 15 minutes after our first round arrived before we were approached for our dinner order. We requested a 20-wing sampler and took advantage of the "up to 4 sauces" option, ordering sweet chili, hot teriyaki, Thai ginger & garlic and hurricane (a Buffalo-type sauce) wings. We also ordered the garlic-parmesan fries. Our waitress asked if we'd like those first and thankfully we said yes for some reason. Normally with just apps as dinner we'd get them all together, but the fries alone took a good 20 minutes to arrive, so by now we'd been there nearing 40 minutes. They were tasty with a lot more parmesan than garlic flavor, kinda small fries and not as big an order as we'd expected based on the "regular" fries we saw at a neighboring table. Reasonable size for 2 to share but by then we were pretty hungry! When the wings finally showed up they were precisely as ordered and we really enjoyed all four flavors. The base wings were all crisp-skinned, which is a must in our book. Each sauce was very distinctively flavored and each section of flavors was separated by a few celery sticks. Not the most huge wings we've ever seen but plenty of meat and more drumettes than wingettes. VERY messing eating but we finished them off without a problem. Would be really nice if the tables offered wet-naps or the waitstaff brought them near the end of the meal. We didn't ask but raided the stash in the car as soon as we got out there. Our big disappointment was that the place was pretty messy. As mentioned it was very busy, but that's no excuse for not cleaning tables between parties. Each and every time a group departed we saw the dishes cleared away but never once was a table or chair sprayed, condiments rearranged, floor picked up. Not even a casual wipe of the tabletop with a rag, not once. So new parties were coming in and doing exactly what we did by wiping up the previous diners' remains on their own. The bar didn't look much better even with empty seats throughout the evening. Needless to say we didn't set foot in the bathrooms! Would love to give 4 stars based on the food quality/value, but no can do due to sanitation, or rather lack thereof. What's with the poker table on the patio?

If you like 5 pounds of bread then place is for you if you like chicken find another place. I had the boneless chicken which was about 70% breaded I have also tried the bone in which was mostly fat. Food here has left heart burn. Customer services was the best part of this place, as for the food, here comes the heart burn.

Great wings, great service. The boss sauce is great. They have 30 flavors of wing sauce.

This place is really probably a 3.5 (now 4, see below) for me. Overall it's pretty solid, I look forward to coming here, but it could use a little work. Pros: The wings are really very good. They offer a ton of different flavors (some better than others), and the good sauces really are fantastic. They give you plenty of bleu cheese dressing and celery with your wings, and offer a ton of menu items my friends seem to love (but seriously, who comes here and doesn't get wings?). And the beer is always ice cold and reasonably priced. The people who work here are all very nice, so it can be a great place to watch a game. Cons: The wings are overpriced, at around $1 per wing, and the wings are usually very light on the sauce, often coming out very dry (I expect dry for the rubbed wings, but sauced wings should be saucy, not dry). The service takes a really, really long time, so if you are hungry now or in a hurry, you should maybe consider somewhere else. Also, if you order 15 wings, you can only get two sauces; is it really that much of an imposition to allow three sauces? Like I said, overall it's a good place, and I come here once or twice a month. If the service were a little faster and the wings reliably saucy, this would get a solid four stars. UPDATE: I went back last weekend to watch some football, and was impressed. The service was a lot faster than it had been, and the $2 drafts were great. I also tried some new sauces that are now my favorites (Ancho Chile Lime and Firecracker; also, the garlic parmesan is delicious, but not spicy, which is a must for me).

Came here with a Groupon and will definitely go back. Was a great place to watch a game and eat good food. The menu was HUGE - almost too much to choose from and the sauce list was really extensive. The boneless wings were great (we had the Boss sauce and a honey barbecue) and the nachos were pretty good too. It is seat yourself - which was confusing since there's no signage indicating that and a few waitresses walked by us without letting us know. My boyfriend wanted me to point out that there is some really girly music playing too (probably because all the staff were female and picked what they wanted to hear). Overall though, good wings and lots of other things to try.

Place is pretty damned small, but nice. Food was good as well. It's no doubt on the expensive end of the bell curve for wing places. Try the cat 5 sauce, it's impressively hot as it's being served at a corporate place. The other sauces were good as well.

Stopped at this location around 1 pm on a Sunday for lunch with some friends. Wasn't expecting to be there too long as it wasn't busy. Our server seemed a little lost. We ordered 2 chicken wraps (one with no tomatoes) and 1 chicken sandwich. It took us over 35 minutes to get our food, which is amazing for a place that like specializes in chicken that it would take that long, and then it came out and both wraps had tomatoes on them. The waitress went to the back with the incorrect wrap, came back out, and asked the other person if she could "have the second wrap back as her manager didn't believe her when she told him that the kitchen had sent out two wraps with tomatoes." Then she came back and made some excuse saying that the tomatoes were part of a sauces that was put on every wrap and that she could have them remake it, but we had been waiting so long my friend just took it with the tomatoes. Obviously there needs to be some manager retraining here if you're going to ask one of your wait staff to go back onto the floor to take perfectly fine food away from someone who has already started eating just to prove a point. This place is way too overpriced to have such awful service. If you want their food, go to a different location.

Yum!!!!! I had their honey pecan chopped chicken salad...it was a huge portion, fairly priced at $11, and the wait staff was courteous. This place seems like a local favorite....family friendly and plenty of parking. They have a really visually busy menu but definitely plenty to chose from and tvs (yes...sports bar), dining area and outdoor seating. It seems like a good mix of locals and snowbirds... :) since I wasn't looking for food in the downtown areas, I was really glad to find something that wasn't fast food and had some healthy options. I definitely recommend this place!!

Best wing house! Great flavors, great service and great prices! We've been going there for 4+ years and they never disappoint. We highly recommend their nacho appetizer and the cyclone, boss, and firecracker flavored wings. Superb!

In Fort Myers, FL most restaurants and grocery stores are closed by 10pm on a Friday night unless you drive out towards Gulf Coast Town Center perhaps. But not Hurricane Grill & Wings. They catered to my late night dinner needs when everyone else in the area had already gone home. The place is extremely clean and well maintained. They had one server and one bartender running the place. They greeted me nicely and asked me to sit anywhere I wanted. Since I was by myself I sat closer to the TV's near the bar watching the Texas & LA Angels play (what a game though, but that's a different topic in itself). I had a choice of ordering a healthy salad or chicken wings with large selection of flavors. They do shut down their grill by 10pm, so you are limited slightly on what you can order on the menu but you still have a good amount of choices as long as you are not picky. So I decided to go with their wings and I ordered 5 Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce which came with Celery and Blue Cheese dressing. You can get Ranch instead if you like also. So as to their sauces, they have like 5 categories of Sauces from Mild to Hot. Mine was Category 4. When the food arrived I noticed they actually brought me 6 wings instead of 5. Maybe they miscounted, but the 6th one hit the spot when I was finally done so it worked out well. The size of the wings were also bigger than most other Wing places including BW3. However, I do have to say that a couple of the pieces had a burnt smell for some reason masked by the sauce and all of them had a crunchy skin. The sauce at times was spicy and at times sweet. That's exactly what I wanted to it worked out nicely. If it was not for the occasional burnt smell and the crunchy skin, I would have rated this place higher. I prefer to eat softer skinned wings than crunchy ones. But that's just my preference. Then again I am not sure if that was intentional or an accident on their part. But either way they did feed me when no one else was open to do so, so I cannot complain.

Tonight I had some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced at this restaurant. 1st, the drink order was wrong. The food order was wrong. The whole meal consisting of 20 wings & an order of chips, took 2 hours total to get. To top it off, the waitress spilled a drink on me at the end.

Tried the wings with Boss sauce and the Hot (both level 4 hotness out of 5). These were some of the best wings that I have ever had. If I had to nitpick I would say the texture of the chicken was slightly dry. The sauce was great, especially the boss sauce. It wasn't thick sauce like bww, and also just the right amount. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Love the place. Cold beer and wings. Over 30 or 40 flavors of wing sauce. Service is awesome. Tv's all over the place with a variety of sports on each one. Also had the grilled chicken wrap. It was good. Visit Hurricanes every time we come to Fort Myers!
